Dan Knapp, P.E., CFM
With over 24 years of experience in structural engineering, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge to Anthem having managed and designed a wide variety of projects, including new construction and renovation of K-12, higher education, mixed-use, office, religious, and municipal facilities. He has also designed tenant finishes, pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, PV support, and repairs for damaged foundation structures. Dan is a brilliant engineer and effective leader, always looking for opportunities to guide and mentor new engineers. Dan attended University of Alaska, Anchorage where he earned a Civil Engineering degree. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Floodplain Manager specializing in the design and assessment of flood-proof structures in the Boulder area and beyond.
Like many East coast natives, Dan moved to Colorado in 2005 to pursue the many outdoor activities that the state has to offer, such as skiing, hiking and biking. In his spare time, Dan enjoys adventures in the mountain and attending live music festivals with his wife, Katie.
