As Principal and Operations Director, Dan collaborates with the facilitation of the strategic vision and goals for Anthem and oversees effective operating procedures across the company. Dan has more than 30 years of experience in structural engineering and has led the structural engineering design for a wide variety of projects, in sectors such as multifamily housing, educational facilities, municipal buildings, office buildings, pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, mixed-use structures, adaptive reuse projects, religious facilities, and courthouses. He has also been responsible for the evaluation of existing structures for flood loading, photovoltaic support, and drafted repair recommendations for damaged structures as well. Dan has also obtained his Certified Floodplain Manager certification with experience designing flood-proof structures in regional floodplains.

Like many East coast natives, Dan moved to Colorado in 2005 to pursue the many outdoor activities that the state has to offer, such as skiing, hiking and biking. In his spare time, Dan enjoys adventures in the mountains and attending live music events with his wife, Katie.

What is your favorite building material to work with?
I love working on many project types and materials. I enjoy the challenge of leveraging materials to suit the design problem.

Enjoying all Colorado has to offer, including skiing, hiking, biking, and the music scene. I also enjoy the peace and tranquility of my home in Coal Creek Canyon with my wife.
