Jonathas joined the A-Team in 2022. A native of Vitória, Brazil, Jonathas started his engineering career at 16 years old when a local college scholarship offering presented itself. When introduced to Revit in 2013, he saw an opportunity to combine his passion for software and for design. Awarded with a scholarship for a U.S. college exchange program in 2015, he began to expand his practical and professional knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Since then, BIM has been an important part of his work, whether in MEP design and coordination, in shop-drawings detailing, or in high-rise concrete construction administration.

An innovation seeker, Jonathas’ BIM excitement translates into the conscientious implementation of new tools and methodologies that focus on increasing overall productivity for all parties involved in a project. Autodesk’s Revit is his primary tool, and he enjoys 3D modeling. Nevertheless, Autodesk’s Navisworks quickly became one of his favorites when implementing BIM 4D and clash detection procedures.
