The newest location for the Real de Minas restaurant group is located in Aurora, Colorado, in a brand new building near the intersection of Parker and Arapahoe Roads. Owned by a locally-based family and in operation since 2002, the small Mexican restaurant company was excited to undertake their first new building project for this location. Anthem was brought on to help the Architectural Workshop team with the project’s design.
The project makes use of a steel frame structure and incorporates the exposed structure in certain portions of the space. The bar area’s design featured multiple garage door style openings, helping the Owners create an indoor/outdoor experience to welcome Colorado’s beautiful weather. A rooftop deck component also allows the restaurant patrons to have access to beautiful views of the nearby Cherry Creek State Park and mountains in the distance.
