Originally from The White Mountains of Arizona, Ryan came out to Colorado without looking back after his first glimpse of the Flatirons over Highway 36. He graduated from the University of Colorado with both his undergrad in 2016 as well as his master’s degrees in 2018. Mr. Paige is a project engineer with Anthem Structural Engineers in their Golden office.

He has experience in the design of both conventionally and eccentrically framed industrial/commercial site facility buildings, reinforced concrete water holding structures, and high-end residential wood framed custom homes. Building design work includes concrete, timber, steel, aluminum, FRP and CMU structural framing, floor and foundation systems. He has experience in both new design as well as rehabilitation of existing structures with the as-mentioned building materials.

Detailed design experience includes modeling and analysis design software, manual calculations and complying with specifications and building codes while maintaining feasibility of construction. Ryan takes great pride in not only his design but the construction administration process as well. He believes in providing his self-proclaimed “service with a smile”. He executes projects on-time and on-budget. Other technical skills include document control, safety and logistics. He has worked integrally with many different architects, engineering disciplines, CAD technicians and specification editors.

Q & A

What is your favorite building material to work with?
My favorite building material to work with is concrete. I enjoy the often-complex workings behind such a seemingly simple material. It sure isn’t flashy but concrete provides the world with what can be a creative and cost-effective solution that stands the tests of time.

When I’m not working, I’m……

When I’m not working I’m typically playing around outside. Whether I’m throwing big bugs at undercut banks, or the dogs are barking down a bump run, my favorite moments are spent getting lost with good people.
