Originally from rural Pennsylvania, Skyler moved out to Boulder where he graduated from the University of Colorado in 2019. While in grad school, Skyler interned with Anthem. He then moved up to the mountains where he gained experience in the high end residential and commercial fields. Shortly after receiving his P.E., Skyler started his own structural firm in the roaring fork valley working on custom home designs.

With on-site experience in construction management, Skyler is always looking for ways to improve communication between disciplines, reduce costs, and enhance build-ability. He has a passion for residential home design and loves how unique each individual project is.

Skyler now splits his time between Bend, OR and Carbondale, CO and is back at Anthem as a project manager with the Steamboat Springs office.

Q & A

What is your favorite building material to work with?
I love to work on residential homes where there is a blend of wood and steel. I feel that wood design with steel allows for many types of unique conditions that allow for creative solutions.

When I’m not working, I’m……

When I’m not working, I’m outside skiing, biking, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I also love to travel to new places with my fiancé and our 2 Aussies.
