Derek (Henderson) is an invaluable member to any project team…he is very willing to listen to and incorporate suggestions from the architect and other team members. He is well-versed in the various disciplines of a building project, particularly construction, enabling him to design structural solutions that are elegant and fit into the overall parameters of the project. He takes the time to understand the architecture of the project and works extremely hard to make his solutions work with no negative impacts to the design. Derek is also very proactive, bringing up potential issues early in the design phases so that they can be addressed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
