Vanessa joined the Anthem team in the spring of 2026, bringing experience in steel design and the production of steel shop drawings.

Born and raised in Westchester, New York, Vanessa moved to Colorado to pursue her master’s degree in Structural Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her interest in the relationship between architecture and engineering began during her undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, where she earned a minor in Architecture. Vanessa values the important dynamic between the two disciplines and how they work together to create structures that are creative, impressive, and safe for the communities they serve.

Vanessa believes good communication, a positive attitude, and a willingness to support the team wherever needed are essential to a successful project. Drawing from her experience in steel design and detailing, she is committed to producing high-quality steel shop drawings that consider fabrication and constructability while maintaining the original design intent. She considers contributing to the built environment both an exciting opportunity and a great honor.
